Prospero Teaching are looking for resilient and experienced Learning Support Assistants to work in one of our inspirational SEN Schools in Ashington to start in either April 2024 or September 2024. The school has opportunities available across EYFS-Sixth Form, so regardless of your preference or specialism, we have the perfect opportunity for you. The School has both full-time and part-time roles available, ranging from 2 to 5 days per week depending on your availability and preference. For the right candidates, there is the strong possibility that the role will become permanent if this is your preference. A key part of the role will be to work effectively alongside Class Teachers and other Teaching Assistants to ensure all pupils receive the best possible levels of support that are suited to their individual learning styles and needs. The role will involve supporting pupils with a wide range of SEN and challenging behaviour. Additionally, some pupils may be none-verbal, some may require personal care and others may display resistance to engaging with their learning. As a result, your adaptability, resilience, and relationship-building skills as a practitioner will be key.
