We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly Exams Team. You will have a proven ability to work as a proactive team member, whilst also being able to work independently. The ideal team member will be flexible, hard-working and able to work autonomously.

The role is based within the MIS & IT services Department of Wigan and Leigh College, with regular travel between sites at key points in the exams cycle.   The team is growing, due to an increase in our student numbers and changes in exams and we are looking for a Co-ordinator who wants to be part of the team at this exciting time.

This role will contribute to the delivery of an effective and responsive examination service to staff and students; ensuring there is a consistent and compliant approach to the administration of exams.

You will take day to day responsibility for work relating to the operation of the examination processes, JCQ and Awarding body regulations and internal College requirements.

You will be responsible for:

  • •Processing registrations & exam entries to Awarding Body deadlines
  • •Upholding the integrity of all examinations and assessments taking place at the college
  • •Maintaining accurate achievement records
  • •Providing effective customer service to all staff and learners
