Salary: £29,820 - £36,749 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 37 hours per week x 52 weeks per year

About the Role

Join us in shaping the future of environmental education at Sheffield Sixth Form! We are excited to announce the development of a new A level Environmental Science course, scheduled for delivery in 2024/2025. As part of our Environmental Careers Pathway, we are seeking a dedicated individual to co-deliver this course alongside our experienced science teachers.

The role of Humanities Lecturer offers a unique opportunity for those who seek a dynamic position where they can make a significant impact on the success of our Geography and Environmental Science students.

Key Responsibilities
  • The design and delivery of the Geography/Environmental Science curriculum
  • Assessing student work and providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Liaising with students, parents and stakeholders
  • Meeting the diverse needs of our students
  • Tracking and monitoring learner progress
  • Providing extracurricular opportunities for learners
Skills & Knowledge
